Enable Task Manager and Registry Editor Manually!!


Have you ever faced that your “Task Manager Has Been Disabled By Your Administrator” and cannot access it. If so you can make it Enabled Manually!!

Step 1:  Open run and type “regedit” (without double quotes) and hit on “Ok”

Step 2: Now you can see  Registry Editor Window, in that navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER–>Software–>Microsoft–>Windows–>Current Version–>Policies–>System

Step 3: In the Right Pane double click in “Disable TaskMgr”

Step 4: Then you’ll get a window to edit value set the value as “0” in the Text box given and click on “Ok”.

Step 5: Restart your System

 

Thats all!! Now after restarting you can open your Task Manager!!

 

Sometimes your access to Registry Editor might also be disabled. Here is  an easy way to make it Enable.

Step 1: Open Run and type “gpedit.msc” (without double quotes) and hit on “Ok”

Step 2:  In the Group Policy Window, navigate to

User Configuration –> Administrative Templates –> System

Step 3:  In the Setting, move to PREVENT ACCESS TO REGISTRY EDITING TOOLS

Step 4: Double click on that, and select “Not Configured” and Click on “Ok”

Step 5: Restart your System

 

Thats it!! Now can access both Task Manager and Registry Editor!!
